St Johns Community Development Project

Serving the Local Community in Clapham and Stockwell

St Johns Youth Programme began in October 2003 in the basement of St Johns Church on the Clapham Road. A range of grants enabled us to kit the project out with pool tables, table tennis tables, pinball machines, internet cafe, a karaoke machine, table football and xbox, furniture, sofas and a kitchen - it’s a great space for local young people to come and socialise with each other, and take up some of the opportunities offered by the programme.

These opportunities include: Courses in IT and DJ workshops, music production courses, street dance classes, day trips and summer and winter residentials, youth work and other training courses, sports programmes including a football club and regular league games, careers and education advice sessions with our Connexions worker and much more. It’s a great place to come and meet your friends in a well managed and youth friendly environment.
